2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Interior Redesign
Ever since its introduction back in 1979, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class has been an off-road legend. While the exterior persona of the G-Class hasn’t seen much change over the years (why mess with a good thing?), it’s interior is a whole different story. This impressive model has continued to evolve with the changing times, offering the best in technology, comfort and convenience. And the brand plans on taking this to a whole new level next year, with the 2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class receiving a major interior redesign.
G-Class New Cabin Design
Blending the brand’s tried and true persona of upscale luxury and rugged toughness, the new cabin of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class will come with new design details and materials. Some of its stand out elements include a grab-handle on the glove box, distinctive door handles with a distinct closing sound, chrome-highlighted switches for the differential locks and more.
It’s exterior design seeps into the interior with many of the model’s new styling elements finding inspiration from its exterior. For example, the G-Class will feature speakers shaped like the models’ unique signal indicators, and air vents in the same shape as the model’s round headlights.
Buyers of this impressive model will have the choice between metal or carbon fiber trimmings, as well as leather seats and open-pore wood trim. They’ll also benefit from numerous new storage compartments and spaces throughout the model’s interior.
