2017 Porsche Panamera Changes, Performance and Release Date
At long last, after weeks of waiting and wondering, the redesigned 2017 Porsche Panamera has finally been unveiled and all we can say is, wow. This sport sedan is now more powerful, more aerodynamic, and more attention grabbing than the outgoing model, and it is set to blow the hinges off of any vehicle that tries to match it. Here is what we know so far regarding the 2017 Porsche Panamera changes, performance and release date.
Complete Redesign with 911 Inspiration
The goal of the original Panamera was to be a true four door sports car. The performance was certainly there, but many thought the design was lacking in some areas. Well, those areas have been fixed in a big way for the 2017 Panamera. This vehicle draws many of its key design characteristics from the Porsche 911. These features give the Panamera a bold, yet stylish look that many have wanted to see from the vehicle.
Sports Car Performance Under the Hood
Where the 2017 Porsche Panamera really shines is under the hood. This vehicle is set to be a beast in the streets and on the track, thanks to a standard twin-turbo V6 engine with 440 horsepower. However, if you want even more speed, a 550 horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine is available on the Panamera Turbo. The V6 will allow the vehicle to do 0-60 in 4.2 seconds, or 4.0 seconds flat with the Sport Chrono Package. Meanwhile, the V8 can do the sprint in 3.6 seconds, or 3.4 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package.
