Since the city canceled its fireworks show in 2011, the Navy Pier Fireworks show has been the central option for many people.

Hosting the Aurora American Legion Band and Fox Valley Orchestra to entertain crowds starring at 6pm with the fireworks display at dusk to end the night.
July 4 at Dusk
The annual Glenview Independence Day Celebration starts with a parade on Harlem Ave with an evening concert and ending with a Fireworks display.
Arlington Heights Fireworks
Arlington Park Racetrack
July 3 at Dusk
The Arlington Park Racetrack is putting on a firework display after its final race, along with plenty of music and family activities starting in the early afternoon.
Plainfield Patriotic Picnic and Fireworks

July 3 at 6-9 pm
In addition to its fireworks at dusk, the Plainview Central High School will also offer an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, crafts games and more.
